FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We're glad you asked

What services do you offer?

We currently offer a 3-Day Intensive for couples who are in crisis. After the 3-Day Intensive, we continue to provide support, encouragement, and accountability for an additional 30 days with weekly follow up phone and Zoom calls. We also have a Monthly Plan process where we meet with couples and/or families each month for a 2 Day Session. The Monthly Plan comes with a commitment between 6 to 12 months, depending upon the needs and circumstances of the couple and/or family. You can find more details about these options on the Services page.

Is this counseling?

No, we are not licensed counselors. Since 2016, we have been trained and certified through Relational Wealth Advisors (https://relationalwealthadvisors.com/about) and are Master Certified Relational Advisors at Level 100 (couples work) and Certified Relational Advisors at Level 200 (family work). Each certification takes a year of training to obtain, with monthly continuing education classes throughout the year to maintain certifications. The process has changed our life, marriage, and family and we love guiding others into healthy relationships.

What is different about what you do from traditional counseling?

Unlike traditional counseling, where couples often meet for an hour a week and might leave feeling like they have only scratched the surface, our approach is immersive and transformative. We dedicate multiple days in a focused retreat setting, giving you the time, energy, and direction needed to truly work through issues — not just talk about them. Instead of circling around problems, we guide you step by step with practical tools, real-time modeling, and hands-on support which helps you experience connection and growth as you go.

What do your services cost?

We do not publish our pricing, because it is dependent upon several factors. These can include travel costs, length of time with clients, amount of work due to live sessions and follow up connection calls, etc. We customize the price based on those factors and provide a quote after the intake process is completed to see if we are a good fit.

Who do you typically work with?

Our clients tend to be business owners, professional athletes, politicians, public figures, pastors, and high-net-worth families. Because of the challenges facing our clients, high trust and confidentiality is an absolute requirement. We tend to get the call, when there has been a rupture in the relationship. Based on the clients public persona, we maintain discreet protocols so the couple and family can process and heal within a safe environment.

Are you a faith-based ministry?

Verapha is a for-profit company, but we do see our work as a ministry. While we have a strong faith in Christ, serve in our local church, and seek to live our lives honoring our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we do not require our clients to have the same faith, or any particular faith. The relational tools we use do come from biblical principles, however, our process is for anyone needing relational help for their marriages and/or families.

What is the process to get started?

We take a little time to get to know you and allow you to get to know us before we will say, "yes". We have several phone calls, an intake form, and a list of questions we go through. We give you opportunities to ask questions as well. During this time, all of us are getting to know each other to make sure this will be a good fit. If we feel it is a good fit, we will have a call sharing the best path to move forward. We will also disclose the pricing, answer questions, and provide you with time to evaluate your decision. Most of the time, our clients tell us right on the spot they have already pre-determined a "yes", and don't need any extra time. This intake process has been valuable in assuring success, and we do not rush through it.
